Anabel Cano is an Industrial Designer and an Artist. She unexpectedly ventured into jewelry while exploring wax modeling for sculpture.

In 2015 she founded her jewelry project “Aracne”. She subsequently renamed it “Anabel Cano” in a quest to bridge the gap between her identity and her creations.

The spider remains a part of her brand as a symbol of the connection between past and future. It is the cosmic weaver. The representation of continuous and constant creative action.

Her personal expression of masculinized femininity led her to create androgynous —genderless— pieces, which blur gender within her designs.

Her work is loaded with symbolism. Her aesthetic is an eclectic mix between nature, antique jewelry and Avant Garde.

Anabel perceives jewelry as uplifting ornaments. Small but empowering amulets that become an extension of our being.
